Humpback whales

 

Hi there! In our class, and with Whenua (the older class) we individually got approximately two hours to make a slide, a doc, a site, etc, on Humpback whales. This is mine, I chose to make it on a slide because I can easily display my information and add pictures. This was a timed project, in some parts I felt a bit stressed because I really wanted to finish, but then I realized that it was more important to make my work awesome, and I got it done in the end. I enjoyed this project because I find humpback whales intriguing and fun to research.

I did this using a writing planner, going through the main ideas of the entry comment, the first, second, and final main ideas, then the general statement.

This is my Acrostic Poem. It was based on my experience on our class camp to Arthurs Pass. An acrostic poem is when you have a theme/word, put the letters of the word on top of each other, then put a sentence for each letter! Fia and Pera did this activity with me.

This is my "All about wind energy" activity. Our class had to pick a type of energy, then either make a slide/drawing/doc about it, or make a model, I chose wind energy and, decided to put it on a google drawing.
